G151 - Improve utilization of Component Maintenance Modification Cards (CMMC)
Honeywell worked with Service Centers to clarify the usage of a Service Information Letter (SIL) specifically addressing the usage of the Component Maintenance Modification Cards (CMMC) and the data that Honeywell wishes to see. Internal processes were established to ensure when a CMMC is returned, the appropriate maintenance actions were taken are updated and returned on the original CMMC.
HTF 7000 LMM 72-05-12R25 was released on October 10, 2012. TFE documents released November 15, 2012.
M177 - Universal Oil Pump Utilization Matrix
Honeywell proposed that a Service Information Letter (SIL) be issued to address oil drain back when a universal oil pump was installed, primarily on right hand mounted engines (TFE731-2/-3/-4/-5). Oil over-servicing may impact condition, and oil pump PN 3071949-12 could be installed to reverse symptom.
SIL D201209000049 released on January 11, 2013.
G188 - Tech Pubs Temporary Revision Management
Temporary Revisions (TRs) have been difficult to manage when many TRs exist against one manual. Sometimes there are TRs over TRs. Honeywell developed a Product Data Management report that identifies all active TRs against manuals by these engine types HTF7000, TFE731- All, and CFE738. A prioritization plan was developed for revisions.
Aero Process, AP-1311, is in place and Temporary Revisions are collated into online manuals.
